Editorial Policy

HRT Pharmacopoeia will never publish any of the following:

  • Avoid absolutes: prefer “we suggest / typically / in most cases” over “must / always / never”
  • Address the reader directly: write “you can choose A or B” rather than “patients should choose A”
  • State uncertainty plainly: conclusions at evidence level B/C/X must be tagged with “data are limited” or “expert opinion”
  • Reduce stigma: use community-affirming language and avoid outdated or overly clinical terms
  • Every medical claim is sourced via the CitationRef component (IDs map to entries in src/data/references.json)
  • DOIs are preferred; where no DOI exists, cite journal publication info plus a stable URL
  • Figures and diagrams are original or sourced from Creative Commons / public domain works; reproductions are credited
  • Original site content is released under CC BY-SA 4.0; code is governed by the repository LICENSE
